Our Story

Founded in June 2021 by Mathias Baumann, Art Inspire Music Limited (AIM) is a creative consultancy and services company operating at the intersection of music, education, technology and audiovisual production.

Built on more than two decades of experience across music performance, education, recording, business management and audiovisual installations, AIM brings together creative insight and practical expertise to help businesses, music schools, independent artists and project teams turn ideas into successful, sustainable outcomes.

Our work spans music school consultancy, artist services, professional website design and maintenance, recording and photography, digital learning solutions, and specialist consultancy for audiovisual installations. By combining an understanding of creative practice with business strategy and technical delivery, we provide tailored solutions that meet the needs of each client and project.

Supporting Music Schools, Teachers & Students

Music education is at the heart of AIM's work. Having taught music in Dublin since 2006 and worked closely with music schools in both teaching and management roles, Mathias understands the operational, educational and commercial challenges that music schools face.

Since AIM's establishment, he has advised Music Schools in Dublin on business strategy, website development, legal compliance, marketing and operational improvements. He has also delivered teacher training workshops and piloted a Learning Management System with selected teachers and students at both schools.

These pilot programmes explored the practical implementation of digital learning tools, an extensive library of teaching resources, user experience, support requirements and scalability. The insights gained have helped inform the development of Music School Hub, AIM's platform designed to support music schools, teachers and students through integrated school management and learning resources.

AIM's music education consultancy covers strategic planning, workflow and procedure optimisation, digital learning integration, curriculum and teaching resources, teacher development, website solutions and online marketing. Our aim is to help music schools operate more efficiently while delivering a comprehensive, engaging and high-quality learning experience.

Artist Services & Creative Production

AIM also supports independent artists and musicians in developing their creative identity, strengthening their online presence and bringing their projects to life.

Drawing on extensive experience as a performing musician, composer, arranger, producer and recording engineer, Mathias understands the journey from an initial creative idea to a finished release or live performance. This perspective informs our artist services, which include music recording and production, session musicianship, artist photography, visual content, website design and hosting, and ongoing digital support.

We work with artists to create professional websites that reflect their individual identity, communicate their work effectively and provide a reliable home for their music, releases, performances and projects. From initial concept and design to hosting and maintenance, our web services are tailored to the needs of musicians, bands and independent creative professionals.

Our approach combines artistic sensitivity with technical and commercial awareness, helping artists present their work professionally while retaining their own creative voice.

Audiovisual Consultancy & Technical Project Support

Alongside our work in music and the arts, AIM offers consultancy and project support for professionals involved in audiovisual installations and technical production.

With previous experience as Managing Director of b&b productions in Germany, working across theatre productions, presentations, live music events, public address (PA) and lighting systems, equipment hire and high-end home cinema installations, Mathias brings a practical understanding of the technical and organisational demands of audiovisual projects.

This experience enables AIM to support architects, event managers, smaller audiovisual companies and project managers with the planning, coordination and development of AV-related projects. Our focus is on helping bridge the gap between creative requirements, technical considerations, operational planning and project delivery.

Whether supporting an installation concept, assisting with project planning, reviewing workflows or helping coordinate creative and technical stakeholders, AIM brings a multidisciplinary perspective informed by hands-on industry experience.

A Background Built Across Music, Business & Technology

Mathias Baumann's professional background combines formal business education with specialist training in music performance and years of practical experience across several creative industries.

He holds a First Class Honours degree in Jazz Performance from Newpark Music Centre in Dublin, with studies spanning performance, composition, arranging, music theory, music technology, pedagogy and business. He also holds a business qualification in finance and banking, providing a strong foundation in commercial thinking, financial awareness and organisational management.

His professional experience includes music school management, teaching and teacher training, recording studio management, sound engineering, artist development, record releases, event management, audiovisual equipment and installation projects, and digital services.

As a recording artist, Mathias has released original jazz and contemporary music, including the albums Expectations and The World Is Coming Together. His music has featured on Irish television and radio, and he co-exhibited with the multidisciplinary arts collective idir at Group Ego Trip 1, an exhibition in New York supported by Culture Ireland. He is also the author of Exploring Contemporary Music Theory, an educational resource developed to make music theory accessible through practical application.
